At 16 years of age, Raul Martez launched his career in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and within two years became an award-winning hair designer, including three years as Master Educator for John Paul Mitchell System.
A native New Yorker, Raul’s first expousure to haircutting was his father’s barber shop, where he began learning the trade at the age of seven.
Developing a passion for innovation, Raul’s dedication to the art of hair design quickly became evident.
His travels to Central and South America have impacted some of these countries’ leading hair designers.
The foundation of Raul’s success is based on one philosophy: “BE THE BEST!”
